Subversions turns a new leaf...

One year after it's creation inworld, Subversions is now going to a residential area for my closest friends, and will still be the staging grounds for events. There will be less public areas and decreased membership fees because of this! Pardon our dust as we renovate the sim for this new exciting chapter.

Garden of Dreams

Located at the teleport site for the woods (which is on top of the mountain, where the hang glider is at) you will find a rainbow colored bubble.
Up to 3 people can sit on that bubble to go 1000 meters into the air.
The bubble will offer you 15 different scenes to choose from.
THESE ARE NOT HOLODECK SCENES- these are fully furnished (with animations) elaborate builds up to 300 prims each!

FAQ: Can i rez poseballs there? YES! I also have the Intan that will spawn sex poses (not dances) there for you as well.

Can i change the scene while inside a scene? YES! Click the ORANGE SPHERE in each scene to show the bubble- then click the bubble to change the scene. No need to go back down to the ground. DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOM REZZED WHEN DONE. That will kill the bubble for the next person. Please always ride it back down to the ground.

If you are inside the scene, there is no bubble on the ground. You won't be interrupted by people rezzing other scenes. If you go to that location and see dots on the map- come back later :)

If you want to book the rezzer for photography sessions, you can always ask me to rez another bubble.
I intend to use these for 'private' parties, photoshoots, as well as everyday play.

Midsummer Night's Dream...

Coming this weekend, July 11th Saturday, 6pm PDT/SLT
A Midsummer Night's Dream...

Guests will be sprinkled by Puck with a magical love inducing elixir, that will make them 'fall in love', ie., want to play with, the first person they see in the woods of Subversions. There will be much frolicking and flittering about.

Come dressed appropriately as a character, a fairy or just in the nude. Please be prepared to pick someone to play with or BRING A GUEST. Also please have on your sex pose HUDS as these are great for rezzing spontaneous balls where *you* need them of your choice. Some poses will be provided.
All attendants are expected to play. Anyone too shy to play will be asked to leave.
Yes, you can bring nonmembers. No, this will not be a 2 hour event, so come at 6- not at 6:30, anyone not there by 6:15 will be locked out.
(ok, the reason for this is that it's not conducive to play when people come in at the end of the event, I as your hostess need you there at the beginning so that I can set the stage as it were, and get things going, I hope you understand)
Remember also that this play has a lot of alternative and ambiguous sexual themes in it.

What's going on at the sim...

I have several projects under way.
1. The Foundry- a new area of the sim, a skybox, location to be announced this week for group sex poses, some BDSM and fetish. Think of this as "the new castle". It will have a slightly industrial feel to it. I am hiring a hostess for this area who may or may not become a full time fixture when she is available.

2. Paging systems- this is a two part project...one being online indicator boards (much like an escort system) that hand out bio notecards for introduction purposes that show your availability for those who want to request your presence on the sim. Secondly for those who simply want to know when guests are using the mansion (and in the future other areas of the sim) you will be able to sign up for an alert that will go off in text via IMs stating that someone (unknown) is at that location. You will not send out pages if you enter that area as a follow up for a period of 30 minutes so there won't be multiple alerts triggered. The problem that i forsee with this is that you may get there and not be the least bit interested in the person(s) or vice versa. Hopefully though this will cut down on all the times people open up the map and look for dots. As soon as this is ready i will announce it. If you have a picture and bio notecard for the online board system please send it asap.

3. Poseballs...i'm still wrangling poseballs. Still using the Intan system to spawn them...still hiding them here and there on the sim... still looking for something like Intan that can handle more than 2 balls (a couple set) at a time. Would realllllly love some help with this.

Events this week, July 1st

Wednesday: Casual meet 'n greet to discuss new events, new items on the sim, networking etc. 6pm @ our nude beach.

Friday: 11:30pm for midnight fireworks meet at the mansion, several locations for viewing. Wear your red/white/blue swimwear.

Saturday July 4th 11am: come get your morning wood in the naturist's woods of the sim with Laylah hosting a sexy little picnic and i'll leave up the fireworks over the lake as i'll be traveling irl. dresscode is casual!

Today's big announcement...

Today was both a good and bad day...
I got virtually zero response for the Sunday Swinger's Orgy and got really frustrated.
It has occurred to me that maybe I need to narrow the focus of our group back to my ORIGINAL intent.
Which was a large group of friends and lovers and couples who come here because they LOVE IT and want to be here to participate on many levels.
I miss the days of Eyes Wide Shut where we fucked all day long frankly... and that's what we're going back to.
Friday night a small group of us got together in zero lag and had what developed into an orgy over dinner.
It was beautiful and picturesque. It was classy and nasty. It was what I want to see happen, and what this group is supposed to be for.
So.... I sent out this notecard:
Dear Member,

The group has grown leaps and bounds over the last few months. I've enjoyed having you as a member. Things have changed in the way that I want to spend my time in SL.
If you have not been using the sim, if you have not been participating in events, if you have not found what you are looking for there, then this letter is for you:

I want to go back to a tight knit group where there's no pressure for me to keep holding daily events that no one comes to (or very little).
That was not my original intent for the sim, because, I have a life too. I held more events at the group's request, and was horribly disappointed.
The sim is not closing down, i'm not going anywhere, and I'm not shutting down the group.
However, if you are counting on me to have events every few days instead of perhaps once a week on weekends (not counting Skylar's Wed. event),
then i'm sadly going to have to ask you to leave the group at the end of the month.

Whoever stays beyond July will have to be in agreement of the following new "plan":

Events are from here on out going to take place after 6pm M-F and after 2pm Sat/Sun. No exceptions.
come whenever you feel like it and there will be online status profile boxes for any member who wants to utilize this function to meet other members in July
use those boxes to talk to each other and make your introductions, these are like customer service boxes you see in stores, and will be members only.

tell me what events you want to see happen by reading the upcoming posts on the blog and commenting which ones you like, and think you can attend (attendance is not mandatory)
those of you who aren't shy and can chat in group to invite other people over to play- please do it- if you can't do that simple thing- this isn't the group for you
play openly on the sim, rez what you like, ask me for what you want- otherwise i'm going to continue doing what I like here
weekend events are going to become more RSVP, if you think you want to come- write me- the events will be larger, they will be held Saturdays usually after 2pm- midnight and they will be STRICTLY sexual from here on out.

All free memberships with the exception of my performers are now null and void...the people who belong for free for the most part don't participate in the sim at all.

Group membership fees are now going to a straight 2k per month no exceptions starting July 1st and day passes are going to remain at 1L. Please leave the group if you can't afford this, if you can't participate. I'm not trying to be rude- I want this to be a serious group of players who avidly participate and not just hope that something is going to happen.
I'm very very frustrated right now, and may lose some friends over this... It's been a tough decision to make. I care deeply about you guys, and I hope you'll return the sentiment <3

During all other times we are otherwise MEMBERS ONLY and their guests. I handpick all members who ask to join- and I turn away more than I accept. I do this because, if this weren't private or elite, it would be just another place on the grid.
Membership costs a flat 2000L per month to join per person. Too much? Have you ever rented a full prim sim for that fee that is already furnished with over 500,000L worth of merchandise? This is like a land rental program- you can rez poseballs here permanently or temporarily- and you can eject people who are breaking the rules (this has never happened a single time). You cannot rez homes, and will be ejected for doing such. Horses, boats, and small vehicles are OK. Just pick those up when you're done.
You get the WHOLE SIM for that fee, and the sim is packed with builds, toys, and sex items that are considered well made, elite, new, and high quality. In addition to that you get a network of really great people to chat with in group and who will play with you on occaision if they like you. I encourage group chat, you must leave on notices, and attend 1 event per month in order to participate and be invited back. Just because you pay your dues doesn't mean that is all I expect.
On weekends we have special events during the afternoons of SL time and evenings. These are RSVP events, and they are often sexual in nature. Come here anytime, but events are at my convenience, which is usually late afternoons and evenings. Yes, you can bring people here to the studio. Yes, you can ask other members to play. Yes, you can invite guests to use a daypass for 24 hours so that they can join you once you're a member. Yes it's ok if you are GLBT, we don't care- most of us are bisexual.
No, you will not find many people here- it's private. No, you won't find people standing around looking at each other and not interacting. No, you will not see blood, Gor, rape, incest, murder, snuff, goldenshowers, scat, ageplay or such RP.
No, you will not find vampires, spampires, noobs, furries, or other nonhumanoids here, or be solicited. Nope, no stores, no vendors, no XXX RL porno, no snobs, no jerks, nada.
Events are limited and should not be the reason that you join. Please do not come here based on how many people that you want to meet. Coming this weekend

Tonite, Fetish Friday's- tonite will be our first FF at Oral Fixations 7pm, and coincidentally we're looking at Food Fetishes as well as oral in general. Next Friday will be needleplay in a new location and will be by invitation only that requires RSVP.

P.S. Events are expensive to host if done properly- and done the way that I want to do them through my creative vision, so if you cannot attend, I am not going to expend the group's resources in having them for zero participation. If you are asking for more events and not able to attend, please tell me what timeframes (be somewhat general) are better for you, but please be aware that you may be the only group member in your timezone. I will be averaging out the suggested times so that I can find ones with most appeal. Please take this into consideration- as I may have to either omit all events during certain time periods to focus on when I can offer them and do the best job on them as possible instead of spreading myself too thin.

A response to the survey from SubV

I've read over the responses and chatted with a few of you inworld.
I know that more events are the big thing.
Two probs:
1. low participation at some events, massive at others
2. lack of able bodies to host
If i could find hosts who would work for tips + a small salary and free membership I would gladly hire them. So far, a couple people have said they would in their spare time. I hope this comes to fruition.
In the meantime, I hope to have an event every Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun and daily unhosted events (like 2pm Surfing).
Lasch is helping me now with poses, so that's good too! We're going to start doing more thematic areas so that you'll know where to go for what.
The castle is now gone, we have a lovely beach in it's place that i'm working on in my spare time.
Look for more specific parties like Singles Only, Bisexual Bliss, Swinger's Sunday Orgy and so forth. I hope that by stating very clearly what these events are for, you'll get more out of them.
Lastly, in an attempt to make more introductions, I have hired a scripter to make a special paging and visitor alert. Hopefully if it goes as planned, you will be presented with the opportunity to subscribe to a visitor alert notification system that is similar to a customer service pager. When someone is looking to play while on the sim and alone, a line of green text will go out to subscribers. The problem is of course if 10 people show up and no one likes each other LOL, but i think that's a small hurdle in the scheme of things. It's much much easier to say in group chat "come play at the mansion" but this rarely happens to any great success.
I'm also looking at giving members the option of posting their picture in a private area of the sim (perhaps the mansion) with an optional online status, biography notecard giver, and pager.
If any of this appeals to you please let me know :)

That being said, I want you all to know that what I need most of all is participation. If you enjoy sex, come to parties willing to hop on a poseball with *someone* and don't be shy. Fetish Friday's is going to become less about dancing and more about..well..fucking frankly.
Swinger's Sunday Orgies are obviously all about the sex.
Surfing nude @2pm daily is an unhosted way for you to just come hang out, and not feel the pressure to slex it up, but you can!
Daypasses are back to 1L and working MUCH BETTER with a new script. This is only temporary as usual.
Open House will be this Saturday for the kick off of Pride Week. The sim will be wide open, so bring your friends to our events TBA such as Lauren Weyland Live Comedy and subsequent Gender Bender Ball. Prizes for best costume will be handed out.
Thursday night of this week we'll be doing a BYOB, bring your own boy, at the beach with Truth or Dare (that evolves into slexing) and hopefully the lovely men of our group will be joining us to slather on the suntan lotion ;)

Now for my last comment. Those who are not happy with the group and continue to not participate, complain and cause discord, will pretty soon not be welcome anymore. I think we can all agree that we're here to have a good time- not to sound harsh but- if you aren't enjoying it why bother? Sure, I can continue taking your lindens, but it's not worth it to me. Only the happy, sexy and strong participators make this work. If you haven't been to an event and you rarely visit the sim- you are missing out. If you come but don't participate- you are missing out. If you come, participate, relax, and let your gaurd down a bit and still don't like it....? what can I say? I'm having a good time, all my close friends are too...People whom I love and trust tell me that it's growing and catching on. And if nothing else, it's just a great place to BE and enjoy regardless of how much tail you're getting. I started this as the backdrop, the canvas to your adventures. I am not here to play matchmaker or whorehouse madame. I have delivered on all that i've promised, and built upon that. I can only do so much :) Thanks to all those who continue to support the group, the sim, and myself!

4. If you had to pick a build to come down, and have something new in it's place, would it be the castle or mansion? What type of building would you like to see take it's place?

June Events Sampler

Hi gang, just a quick note to give you a sampling of coming events for the month of June. Next weekend we're having a murder mystery, which I need volunteers for asap. Shortly thereafter Mykal Skall will be performing a private concert series here, comedian Lauren Weyland will be kicking off our Pride Week Sat. 13th, we'll be doing another burlesque show w/SLag, along with several events like Fetish Friday, Some Like it Hot (Wed's), and more. I've met several really nice people lately and added them to our ranks. We are approaching our 100 member mark, and refining who we are and what we're about. We are a group of sexually minded folks, who like to play around one another, and sometimes with each other! If you are *not* interested in this kind of situation, I beg you to either reconsider or rethink your membership.
What I would seriously like to see develop are situations where members come to meet one another, and have the kind of sultry public RP that we've seen in days past, like at Eyes Wide Shut.
Since they haven't had the opportunity to meet many of you yet, I'd like to invite you all to pop over for a visit tonite at the Castle for Fetish Fridays, a new series of events that i'm starting.
Each Friday we'll pick a new fetish to spotlight, like for example, Asphyxiophilia.

You can display your personal fetish at these events...as long as it doesn't have to do with the much feared subject of ageplay (sigh)...For those who want to meet others with strange, unusual or just new to you type fetishes, this may turn out to be a good icebreaker and conversation starter, or it may just be something weird about sub that you didn't know! I want to see you explore your kinkier side in a safe environment where many of us are not judgmental or highly experienced.

We are having a photo contest each month for the best shot- you could win a free month's subcription! Winner's will be posted on display at the sim and announced at the end of each month. Images can be of anything in the sim, people, etc but please ask permission from all models. Thanks!

Our new pleasure zone aptly called Oral Pleasures will be opening this coming weekend to service the general public who want a very small TASTE of Subversions. This skyboxed build will be in the old stable parcel area and landmarks will be sent out, teleporters will be updated. Daypasses will be sold to enter the rest of the sim from this new site- members will have to be present in order for anyone to purchase them. As always, this will be a quality build but- to prevent lag, it will be very small and only contain a few poses. The theme will be strictly oral sex, and the decor will be a Roman bath with Persian/Arabian decor. To introduce it to everyone we'll be having a member's only event next weekend on Saturday at 2pm and again on Sunday to be announced in group. This location will be put into search...to gain new interest, fresh members, and provide nonmembers the ability to play in a controlled atmosphere.

Open House & Shibari Saturday

At 8pm Saturday we'll be hosting Fit to Be Tied, a shibari event where participants are req'd to wear some form of ropes. This will be held at the Castle.
BRING YOUR OWN TOYS if you want to rez shibari frames, poses, etc this is your chance. This is a sexual RP event- voyeurs are also welcome- please come semi or full nude.
The sim will be open to visitors all day on Saturday, so if you're looking for a new playmate, come on down. New members will get 2 weeks free, as an incentive to join.

Positions to be filled!

If you are seeking a way to lower your membership costs, and want to bring in more people to play with (which several of you are) here is your chance! IM me or notecard me as to your interest.

Positions and descriptions for Subversions Private Pleasure Sim:

1. Photographer- must attend all events, take hi-res images, edit slightly to heavily (their choice), and send to Flickr appropriately tagged and grouped.

2. Event coordinator- must be available on Friday nights and Saturdays, plan out detailed events that are sexual in nature (but somewhat classy please), handle invites within and outside of the group, notices and any musical performances. Will be allowed to accept tips, no tip jars though.

3. Blogger- must write on the Subversions blog about events and experiences here, post photos and interview willing members at least once a week. Posting approved info to other pertinent, highly visible and/or well known blogs will gain additional pay per post.

4. Tour Guides- must seek out new members by adding them to our daypass system (all monies will be refunded to that person) to intro them to the sim in a guided fashion...meaning...don't just bring them to one spot :) take them on a real tour, familiarize yourself and know the sim inside and out. Each new successful paying member will gain you 500L!

5. Playmates- similar in style to the old Playboy bunnies..can be male or female! Go to higher end and private clubs wearing your subverts tags in small groups of 2-4 ppl, look fucktastic, and recruit by not just offering a tour but offering to involve them in a sexual RP. THIS IS NOT AN ESCORT SERVICE. Ahem. Let me say that again. This is not an escort service. You are looking for like-minded players who you would legitimately like to play with for free. All play has to take place on the sim. Your membership will be comp'd off and you will get the same 500L as a tour guide, plus an extra 500L for each member that you add to the group at the 2k level. Sell a higher plan, make more money. Must be available to do this 3-4 times per week.

Under the Sea: Subversions Prom 09!

I'll be crowning a King and Queen for this event with prizes, so don't miss it.

I am in need of a trusted poseball organizer! I have so many that i really can't keep track. This person would need to be able to keep a running and organized list of all my balls and bases for me. This is a paid position plus free membership. Duties would include setting up poses thru the sim and moving them around for special events.

Friday nights are going to be a mix of private parties, spontaneous DJs, and events. These could happen 'last minute' so please listen for group chat and notices inworld as opposed to the blog. Look for MzDeeDee and Savascha to be joining us for these!

Weekends will always be our 'big shows' and parties. I will be working out the details for this weekend today! Instead of "shooting my wad" on just one hour, i'd like to break it up into maybe 2-4 smaller ones over the course of the weekend. I'm thinking of an early morning for the UK'ers around 7am PDT, then again at 1pm PDT, 7pm PDT wash, rinse, repeat. Post to follow for Saturday's events.
These will run for an hour each- however you can always stay longer.

Update on daypasses: in cases where we have events in the porn studio no daypass is required.
Events being held elsewhere (with the exception of the boudoir culb for burlesque) will at times require them (please ask me). Why is this? Is sub just money hungry? NO. How would you feel if you paid 2k to get "in" and others did not? This makes it fair. Your guests are welcome, and required to show their appreciation with 200L. They won't be asked to tip, hounded to become a member, or be scammed into a sploder or some such.

Ideas for getting new members: i have always had the idea of a 'bird dog fee' where you, the member, bring in a guest, and get a discount for them joining. Now to make that more official i'm going to add an addendum to our membership plan sheet. From now on if you bring in a member, your monthly will go down by 1000L on the following month! So for example, you bring in a new member for the month of April, in May you pay 1k less than you normally would (this discount only applies to your membership, not theirs, for one month). I will send out a notice to update everyone on this information.

Guests are welcome to come to the sim entry point, the Pornographer's Studio (porn studio for short) in the sky where my office is located. If you would like for them to see the *rest* of the sim, I am developing a special tourguide book, complete with pictures and information. These will be handed out freely, and fully copy/trans so that you can pass them out too. Remember: sharing the sim with others who fit into our playstyles can only benefit us all in the longrun. I'm not just some landbaron here...i want to have a strong group of happy players.

Speaking of happy players!
Answers on random questions:
1. Is the group growing? Yes. It tends to grow by leaps and bounds after each large event.
2. Why is there no one here during the day? I think the answer to that question is a mix of lower traffic during weekdays, previously there had not been day time events (see above) and also too- most of our members aren't "on the prowl" for encounters in the way that sims like Cumfort Zone members are. Coming there to see what you can drum up is ok! Expecting it to be filled with horny members every day is not. I see a trend in it being a "destination sim" because of it's privacy. I am encouraging everyone to come there to look for hookups amongst group members. As the group grows, so will this type of activity.
3. What can i do to meet other group members? Instead of having a bulletin board with myspace type 'ads' i would like to suggest that you guys profile surf. Looking at member's profiles is far easier than going over a wall of textures at my sim. Ask, ask, ask. We will have mixers where i'll be asking people to introduce themselves in a very comfortable and personable way. Beyond that, you can use group chat for general hellos. Don't be shy :)
4. I hear you have lag....
I'm going to be honest with you. This question both perplexes and infuriates me at times...
Having just upgraded my piece of crap video card and maxxed out my RAM this week, i can tell you that my sim purrs like a kitten on a good machine. I don't even have a high speed connection until next week and i'm doing just fine on my 2yr old Dell. If *i* can run it, *you* can run it, unless, you are computing with a calculator!!! That being said, there is always going to be some lag, DUH. Sometimes the mansion is laggy for me, and i think this has to do with textures. Large events are laggy when everyone is on poseballs/furniture. I can tell you that there are SEVERAL factors at play and if i'm wrong PLEASE CORRECT ME NOW. The factors for simside lag are scripts and textures (yes prims too but these are basically just little texture carriers- a sim with all wooden cubes and zero textures has no lag, a sim full of megas and sculpts is probably higher so i run with as few megas as possible and a mix of normal and sculpted prims).
I inspect my top running scripts every day on the sim and whittle away the ones that are in the 'danger zone'. Textures are harder to control- and something that i'm working on currently. Other lag coming from factors like agents on the sim (avatars) can be controlled by looking at your ARC, or avatar rendering cost and your net connection/machine. Please look at these suggestions for monitoring and lowering your ARC. I try to limit the number of agents/avatars/people on the sim, even at events. I don't usually allow more than 30 people in at once. Look at the ARC of the people around you. If you are the highest, guess what?!? You are the lag monster :) It's hard to ask people to lower their ARC if they have on things like jewelry that i personally know they spent a ton on and want to be wearing. Unfortunately for the guys, they have to wear scripted cocks, and we all probably use radars. Another possibility is that i will be shutting down all scripts that can be 'killed' and then restarted by the user. By this i mean, you can click on beds and certain furniture and 'start it up' when you want to use it. If there is a menu dialog like on the Akaesha's bases that allows for that, feel free to do so. Otherwise everything that is out on the sim will be running. I may also investigate killing scripts for certain areas during events, ie, if we're in the castle i may shut down the mansion's scripts. Lastly, i'd like to say that there are lots of steps you can take in addition to me trying to downsize the eye candy a little bit...Turn down your draw, turn off your shaders, try not running SL in a window, you know this stuff already :) That's why i'm dealing with more experienced players, or trying to. I really hate to say this but the complaints aren't coming for the seasoned "pro's" of the group...they tell me it's smooth sailing and are very happy. I don't mean to sound like a prick but...if one half the population is very well pleased and the other is not...guess who i'm going to try to cater to? I want to make it fun for everyone sure...But not going to turn this into a watered-down version just to please. If you think that my sim is laggier than 90% of the dance clubs (like GOL) and high traffic venues, think again. Press that little CTRL-SHFT-1 and check out the sim's fps. I genuinely do NOT know everything there is to know and always welcome direct suggestions. Complaints with no suggestions are heard but not nearly as powerful or helpfull to me. Because i'm so busy when inworld, i encourage you to contact me here, or email me at adollbox@gmail.com with your ideas. I welcome the chance to make real improvements if at all possible.

5. HOW CAN YOU HELP:
the cheapest, easiest way that you as a member can help the GROUP become larger is to post your shots of what goes on in the sim to flickr with a brief description and/or slurl. the more you help 'spread the word' by showing how it looks, how we look, (not just the sex stuff) etc, the more solid members we will ultimately have. again- my goal is not to sign up every single person in SL- but rather to find those who can actively participate in a positive fashion.

Let's explore emoting and roleplay!

This series of four classes will explore, in depth, emoting and roleplay and provide you with ample opportunity to practice and ask questions.

You may attend FREE one, two, three or all four of the classes, whatever suits you.

At the end of each class you will receive curriculums, a note card that highlights the contents of the class and a TEXTURE.

Collect ALL FOUR textures and you are entitled to enter a certification process. Your roleplay skills will be tested by one of Second Life's QUALITY roleplayers. Upon the successful completion of the task, you will be certified as a QUALITY ROLEPLAYER and will be given a personalised certificate to display in your picks. The testing process is also FREE.

Lessons last for 1 hour.

★Week 1
Emoting.
What is emoting. Using the prompt. Extending emoting into possessive pronouns and adding speech. Using descriptions. Using adjectives. Using your senses. Actions, thoughts and feelings. Pros and cons of emoting HUDs, cue cards and pre-written text. Lots of interaction and practice from attendees.

Roleplaying
What is roleplaying. What is sexual roleplaying (cybering). Identifying and creating the role you want to play. Basic rules of roleplaying with other people. Safety including emotional risks. IC & OOC. Recap of lesson 1 and demonstration of a short interaction.

★Week 3
More on Roleplaying
Using the environment, Godmoding, Metagaming, grammar, spelling and punctuation,Third/First person. Differences between living out short scenes and long story lines. Language issues. Setting up a scene. Generic language V role specific language.

★Week 4
Combining our tools for good RP
Emotes, in-world furniture, toys, environment, power, control, understanding others. Interpreting profiles. Understanding RP etiquette. Reading and understanding sim rules.

Coming events & photoshoots

Photoshoots this weekend!!! I need willing bodied models to put on their Eyes Wide Shut masks and tattoos to help us do some SLag Mag images.
TIMES are 1-5pm; and 7pm until we're officially spent on SATURDAY
You should contact me directly if you are available and listen to group chat for more info. Models will be posed naked wearing accessories and in threesomes/foursomes! Some shots may not make it into the magazine.

MzDeeDee has made arrangements with the group R.O.P.E. to hold classes on Thursdays that will teach us more about developing roleplay and RP specific also to the D/s lifestyle.
She will be posting a group notice (are yours turned on? be sure to leave these on so you won't miss out) in the next day with more information. I think these will be an interesting way to spend an evening, surrounded by some very intelligent people :)

Next Wednesday- April 22nd is Secretaries Day :) We'll be watching the Secretary in the Studio where my office is located on the far end (near the bar). Ladies, come in your sexiest "work" attire, guys in their power ties! I'll start the movie at 7pm and let it run all night long. Poses can be used in conjunction with the move if you are so inclined. Who knows, maybe you'll get promoted ;)


I'm looking at using a new system for rezzing out poseballs that are not currently coming from a piece of furniture or linked to something else. For those of you who are familiar with the Intan Dance System (that allows the dancers to rez balls for them where they are standing, choose their dance, and get a free HUD) this can also handle sexual poses. I am considering loading several animations into one and then using the little 'dance anywhere' satellites in each major zone of the sim to handle the ever present problem of "where is the xyz pose?". My concern is that people won't know what these are without some kind of sign..and will be still looking for poseballs. However, if enough people catch on to this type of system, it will cut script lag waaaaay down, and make finding the animation you want a snap! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Attention New Members

Our winners from Sunday were Noirran and Mo! They looked like they had a great time and are now "Mr. & Mrs. F. B." ;) as always, please send images to our flickr group shown to the right in my profile info.
Now, on to some important business...
What i learned from our outing yesterday is that having long events is too much for me. I want to be able to stay 'fresh' and attentive to everyone as much as possible, and i also want there to be large enough crowds drawn in that when you arrive you have plenty to...err...do :)
From here on out we're going to have shorter event periods at different times of the day. If you can't attend for example a Saturday 1pm event, then perhaps you will make the next at say, 9pm. It's quite impossible to hold events at all hours of the day and night for me. I'm typically not online weekdays until the evenings.
What i'd like to suggest and try out, are smaller more intimate events during the week that don't require a lot of 'setup'. I will be announcing these as 'meet-n-greets' and 'group sessions' (lol sounds like therapy!) to be held on weeknights, in the Pornographer's Studio (the skybox build) at usually around 7pm. If anyone would like to volunteer hosting events during the weekdays please contact me. The idea is that hopefully members will show up to chat, exchange things like erotic stories, photos, and be willing to pose for shots.
To kick this off I'll be posting a mini-event for Wednesday (hump day) April 15th of this week.
I would like to ask everyone to join me for a special photoshoot (for SLag Mag) in their tattoos and masks/blindfolds who are willing to pose in group orgy type images. Please read my next post when it comes out :)
New members- thanks for joining us! You've all read over the notes and hopefully toured the sim. If you don't know how to use the invisible bed bases to spawn/rez poseballs please try clicking the beds and couches to get a blue dialog menu. I'm sure most of you have had a sexgen, these are the lastest MLP type beds on the 'market'. For hidden poses try typing /1 show in the room you're located in or press Ctrl-Alt-T and look for reddish spheres. Be kind- rewind- /1 hide when you're done ;)
I'd also like to address the question of alts. Can my alt come? Yes. However... Creating an alt and not buying them a skin/hair/genitalia to use in your play is unnacceptable. We don't want to do you as a noob, even if you're completely hot as your other avatar. From now on, alts will be expected to look as good as your main- and if you can't understand why this is- maybe this isn't the group for you after all. I really want everyone to look great, feel great, act great, be great...as corny as that may sound. This is paradise- spend a couple dollars on your alt and 'doll' them up so you can have equally as good of an experience with them as your main.

Hoppy Easter all you Fuck Bunnies

This Sunday for Easter we're trying a new location on the sim, the naturists area, for our first annual Fuck like Bunnies Event starting at 9am PDT Gametime, ending at 9pm.
The idea is simple- fuck the most people (bunnies) by hunting for Easter egg poseballs provided by Primal Dreams, set in the lush outdoor surroundings of Subversions.
The catch is that you can take the poseballs that you find set for sale (1L for tracking) but there will be decoys my babies!
Before you snatch up those Easter egg poseballs, you must snap a quick pic of your fornication to prove your 'fertility' (send those to me full perms inworld or post to the flickr group Subversions) in order to win the Grand Prize of Mr. or Mrs. Fuck Bunny. One lucky humper will walk away with a Digital Dreams Sex Hud valued at 5700L.
Runners up will receive the highly coveted 'Golden Carrot' (a strapon that i've made for the event) and as many poseballs as they can find throughout the day.
Pictures need to be taken only at Subversions, must be dated April 12th (no cheating!) and must be received by no later than 9pm PDT Gametime on Sunday.
Poseballs will be occaisionally replenished throughout the day to prevent horny bunnies from quickly depleting our stock. Don't be afraid to ask your fellow hares to join you in some frisky-business in the name of pixel prOn, cash and prizes. The intent of the day's event is to introduce you to more people, so think of it as a sexual mixer ;)
Attire for this event will ultimately be partial nudity for the poses- feel free to come casual until they fall off into the grass.
I will be on the sim the full day as Mistress of Multiplication and will be open to group play.
Build will be OFF during this to prevent poseball rezzing even to group members. Only the poses that are outdoors count towards Mr. & Mrs. Fuck Bunny (we want to watch). No names will ever be posted to flickr (or here) without your express consent. Nonmembers should buy daypasses through me, Subversive Vavoom, to get into the sim, and are not eligible for the grand prize. Invitations are located in the lobby of the porn studio at the sim's entry point.

Members who want friends over to 'visit' wink, wink, can have their friend message me for a daypass. Daypasses for nonevent days are 200L. Please see our memberships for other options.
Events that are not open to the public will have a varying fee. Grand prizes worth more than 1k will not be awarded to nonmembers on daypasses.
If i'm not online, you should send me a message stating their full name, and look for any visible online officers in the group who can add for me. I answer offlines unless i'm asleep (and sometimes even those!).
Daypassers (DP's) are still subject to our ettiquette, guidelines, membership policies and rules.
Don't think any of you will bring in noobs, but we want to ensure quality experiences when others are in the sim. After 24 hours your DP's will be removed from the group. You can pay me directly through my profile or have your DP pay the same way.

Please keep in mind that some of our membership plans are more affordable than doing several DP's at once. Our exclusive membership rates include guest memberships, with one plan having unlimited guests.

The super slick- highly entertaining- fap mag of the century has finally arrived!
I'm happy to say that several of the shots in the mag were done in the sim 'on location'.
The artwork for my articles was done by moi (except some of the drool on the gag shots) and the fabulous Stephen Venkman allowed me to subvert his image Before Him for my full page ad :)
I really enjoyed reading the article about Noor and hope that mine are well rec'd.
I will continue to write toy reviews, and do not accept bribes or free swag ;) However, feel free to ask me to demo something with you, you know..for scientific purposes.

Wow, what an event.....

The group gathered in a circle in the center of the castle...The lights were dim, the firelight glowing on their naked flesh....I chose from the crowd the most willing of exhibitionists to thrill and entertain my guests for the evening. The halls were filled with voyeurs and moans...

I personally hope to do this again, and very soon perhaps with a slightly different theme. I cannot think of a better way to enjoy this build. The turnout was over 80 and would have been more if it had been easier to get into the event. I prefer to keep things manageable, and the visitors looking and behaving their best. For the most part everyone knew what and how to do 'it'. The keys were a special touch because i actually collect them irl (and have a small hand drawn tattoo of one on my hind-quarters :P).

First Event! Valentine's Day

Our first three events on the sim were a tremendous success! The sim opened as scheduled to an open house, and everything went smoothly.
Three burlesque shows were performed by SLag throughout the weekend, please see my flickr for full details as always.
Tours are now being conducted on Sunday's unless an event is taking place.

If you've followed this link, or rec'd this notecard, you may already know me through flickr or inworld, i'm Subversive Vavoom. I'm the author and owner of the sim, Subversions.
I have decided to try something new and exciting and yes, *sexual* in SL and this page is designed to tell you all about it. Probably not the first, definitely not the last. Please read over this, and give me your thoughts.

Are you an open minded adult who enjoys consensual exhibitionism, voyeurism, or group sex?
Have you ever gone looking for a sexual adventure, encounter or just plain hook up in SL to find that it's mostly noobs or people that just want to watch and are afraid?

I don't like going to most sexual places in SL. Why? Because, i'm sorry to say, they're ugly, and are often filled with ugly people acting like idiots to each other, surrounded by mini-malls :( I realize that not everyone can afford the "luxury" of an expensive or well crafted avatar (i'm not a noob hater, i just don't want to fuck them), or know the accepted etiquette for sexual situations.

However, for those who do 'get it', and look great doing it, in many different and unique ways, I want to offer a realm that supports that fantasy. In order to do that, there has to be some exclusivity and privacy. So... I've formed a private group, and built up a private sim, where that can happen. And i'd like for you to come make it a reality.

The challenges that i face are finding the *right* people, not just anyone will do for this. I don't have the time to play den mother or God, or the desire. I ask that if you do decide to come that you will abide by some very simple rules that are designed to heighten your personal experience and that of others. By asking me to join, clicking the group requester at the sim, or sending me a notecard as an introduction, I will respond. Please do not send me blind friendship offers, gifts, money, or nude photos RL/SL. I will be deciding based on your born-on date, depth of your profile info, groups you're in, and your appearance.

This is not a residential or commercial sim... There are not people living there, combating each other, or shopping, and there never will be. It is not your typical RP sim... Ok, ok, what is the catch...What is this going to cost me....? I've been around long enough to have seen many a scam.
You do not have to buy any land, pay any tier, or tip a tipjar. There are no escorts affiliated with this sim outside of fantasy.
There's no shopping, no ads, no vendors, no spam, nothing. There's not even a room scattered with hundreds of poseballs.
(although yes they are there, hidden from sight!)

By paying a monthly group membership fee you will have full access to the sim, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week with the privileged of rezzing poseballs and sex furniture in designated areas and ejecting group members who are being an ass for the membership level of 2k per mo. The people who i'm looking for spend more than this on a single outfit/hair/shoes, so I'm not apologizing for the cost involved. Other plans are available.


This is the ONLY way that I see to make this work, and the added bonus is that it shows serious interest and intent, for at least thirty days on your part. If you would like to see it for free, please check the events notices in the group. I will not give out refunds and I am not a new resident trying to "get rich". If you don't want to pay to play, don't.

I hope that the benefits of this system and idea are obvious to you by now. Keeping out undesired elements is not my way of judging other people. It is simply what some people are looking for when it comes to sexualized experiences in SL. Anyone, and I do mean anyone, can go to the free sex places. I'm not even making false claims of only having 'beautiful people' here. What i do intend to foster is a place for regulars to meet and have a different kind of fun, for an extremely low price, and handpick people who are right for this. I will keep our numbers limited to 100 for this sim. If we grow beyond that, we get a new sim :)
I promise to keep it fresh and creative. That's kinda my thing.

FAQ'S:

What is Subversions all about?
* Subversions is my dream about a sexual utopian paradise set in modern day with the occasional element of fantasy. It's a place where you can come to fulfill any number of different fantasies, within reason. (see rules) It's not a freebie noob sex palace. It's not open to the public. It's somewhat elite, private, and restricted. It's for open-minded adults who seek out a better place to meet and experience sex. It's the palette, the backdrop, the location for adventures of various themes, settings and content. It's a society comprised of free thinkers, artists, and what some would call perverts. It's NOT for drama, grief, hate, fear, violence or intolerance. It's not *just* about BDSM or any other sexual lifestyle/technique/taste in specific- it's
for all forms of sex, shared amongst others openly. It's a place to see and be seen while having pleasure!

How is it different?
* It's not free! By requesting permission to join you will be 'interviewed' briefly for admission. I will strive to provide the most beautiful or interesting locations for your fantasies. It's not limited to specific RP. Although it's primarily for human avatars, who enjoy group sexual situations, who are more discerning in their play. By offering different types of events I hope to bring in various types of players.
Everyone is expected to look and act their best, please see rules. It's not limited to any sexual orientation, so please refrain from getting offended by samesex offers, you can always say no.

Who can get into Subversions?
* If you want in, click the group join request box and i'll contact YOU... that simple. If you can appreciate a private club, you can appreciate this. Membership will be limited and the sim will locked down at 30 people to limit lag during nonevents (yes it's a full prim sim). If you are not tolerant and respectful and abide by every single rule described below, you'll be ejected.

How do you get invited/invite others?
* Click the join group request box, in the sim entrypoint lobby.

What happens there?
* Sexual encounters, parties, orgies, demonstrations, events, and photography sessions mostly. If you want to go shopping or clubbing, go elsewhere. If you are looking for a 'hard alley' experience, by all means please go there (it can be fun). If you're looking for a slave auction, pirate swashbuckling, or other strictly RP'd situation, there are plenty of those to be had (and you can incorporate that in your own RP) in other sims and groups. The focus here is voyeurism, elitism, exhibitionism and appreciation for your surroundings. By
coming here you relinquish any claims of privacy. There are however, secluded areas of the sim where you may get "caught in the act" by anyone's camera at any time. Extreme kink and fetishes are best kept in private IMs to respect others, however anyone easily offended simply shouldn't come. Harassment is forbidden. Anyone, regardless of status, or otherwise, will get kicked out after breaking the rules, and no refunds on monthly fees will be given.


What does it look like?
* That will change every month or so... It's currently a beautiful lodge set on a pristine lake surrounded by mountains, a darker more castlesque home with a dungeon and stables, a special burlesque event venue and a pornographer's skybox studio. It will
change with the seasons and climate. It may be a futuristic city one month, a Moroccan tropical oasis the next. What cool toys do you have there?
* I could go out and buy every single sexbed there is but... then the script lag would eat us alive. Again, i am not running a freesexnoobfuckpalace...I suggest you use transparent views and lick , i mean click, on stuff to see what i do have. I don't like a bunch of pink and blue balls on my pretty hardwood floors :) I use invisible bases instead to rez them, and you are welcome to rez yours here temporarily until autoreturn sends it back. Please do not rez anything BUT pose stuff, and in aesthetically pleasing areas. The front door is NOT the place to rez your free sexrack. I will add to my collection as time goes. I want to keep it fun and fresh so that you can borrow my stuff but not rely on it constantly either. I would prefer you to not rez anything over 10 prims. If you see someone doing this please politely remind them not to. I have Akaesha's beds, Strokerz, Primal Dreams, Henmations, BitsnBobs, and many of the top animator's balls. I have more toys in this sim than anyone realizes because many of the bases are hidden, so please click stuff!

How does membership work?
* Your membership will be due at the first of every month. To facilitate keeping track of who has paid and who has not, i will simply eject anyone who hasn't paid
on the seventh of every month, until they contact me I will assume they no longer want to play with us. Upon repayment of monthly membership you'll be invited back but will have lost any time where you didn't pay. It is up to YOU to decide if you want to come back, and make the payment. I will not hunt you down and beg for it. The money, that is ;) I will prorate 2k memberships and anything higher. If you are joining in the *last week* of the month, next month's membership is also due at that time.

What if someone bothers me while i'm there?
* Paying members of the 2k plan will have the ability to eject IF A RULE IS BEING BROKEN. Do not abuse this privileged of ejection. (see rules) We are all adults here, and will behave as such. This means that someone will probably offend you at some point. Be tolerant, be
patient, and be friendly or you get no cookies :) This is not Gor, there are no police, and your mother is not watching. If you are bothered by what's being said in open chat, go on busy mode or mute the offenders. I can't stress this enough, we have the ability to control so much in this world, just by clicking a button. I want people to feel comfortable enough to be themselves here and "let it all hang out", not trapped or restricted.

Will there be events? What kind?
* In order to bring small numbers of people together, there will be meet and greets announced weekly. To spark your imagination there will be themed events (not just your average costume parties). To entertain you there will be occasional shows and demonstrations. Artists are welcome to show their erotica here, and exhibitionists are encouraged! We've already had several wonderful performers here too.

What if no one is there, what do i do then?
* Group members can chat in the group. If you are looking to play, you may send a message to the group inviting anyone to come. Sextalk, cyber, RP, and lengthy discussions are discouraged in group chat however, (see rules). The best idea is to come to events, meet others, and keep coming. If you see someone here, they are looking for sex. Kinda takes the guess work out of it, huh?


What if i want a refund?
*You pay by the month, There will be no refunds. Make your decision after being asked to join.

Is it ALL about sex and art?
*Pretty much yes. If you aren't looking for some form of it, don't come. This isn't a library.

How can I participate, contribute?
* Show up, look good, play nice. If you want to contribute further, contact me. Ideas are full of goodness and win.

What is the group for?
* The right to be in a private sim, doing private things, that you won't find elsewhere, while maintaining contact, supporting communication and awareness of events. This is not an option. This gives you build and eject rights on group owned property (the whole sim) for 2k level members. It allows me to block nongroup members during nonevent times.

Be an adult. This means, literally be an adult with payment history on file, or prove to me otherwise. Act appropriately, don't
openly criticize, don't bring your omgzdrama, and be cool man, be cool. Remember that everyone holds the killswitch and can eject you and you them (except for events). Be on your best behavior until they give you the greenlight to do otherwise. If you whine to me about someone saying bad things to you i'm going to laugh.

Ageplay is a big nono. Permanent shit-list kind of stuff. No child avies, no tinies, no way no how. Being short is not a sin! Being dressed in diapers is!!!

Don't eject someone because they won't fuck you. If you are constantly ejecting, guess what? You are next :)

Violence must be limited to consensual private RP and should be kept within the confines of IMs. Sorry but we're not running
another Hard Alley here, although there's nothing wrong with that. We may have a rare kidnap event or similar.

Don't rez stuff other than poseballs or sex furniture in the designated areas, keep it under 10 prims.

Don't do anything that could be considered griefing. If you don't know what griefing is, you shouldn't be here.

Don't harass people but also Don't be shy! IM someone you are interested in and be prepared for possible rejection. Ask for it, offer it, be subtle or be blunt, take it if you can. Don't just stand there with your cock out begging for attention. If someone bugs
you too much you'll be muted. Oh, and, do I really have to say this? Don't ask for money, EVER. If someone pays you for sex, i really don't want to know. People asking for it and using this as a prostitution hub will be shot on sight :) Wallflowers are boring, but voyeurs are welcome unless we're all just looking at each other doing nothing.

Dress code: The only dress code is "sexy human". Because our definition of sexy varies widely, I encourage you to come in
modern day apparel that you wouldn't find in a freebie shop. Lingerie, nudity and fetishwear is OK. Ballgowns and tuxedos are going to just look silly usually. Furry, robotic, or nonhuman avatars are slightly discouraged...However, neko gear and fantasy-wear is fine. Look like a well developed avatar whatever you do....Dress and undress to impress!
